Three Faces Portrait Art
Prize
ACQUISITIVE PRIZE $2000– Sponsored by Mansfield Shire Council
Winning work – chosen by “Sitter”
Two public events
to be held at the Hotel Delatite in Mansfield:
The “First Sitting”,
introducing the three chosen artists and sitter
Thursday 30th October 2008 6 – 7.30pm
Allowing artists to photograph and preliminary sketch sitter.
The Second event, “The
Unveiling”
Thursday 11th December 2008 From 7.30
The winning portrait is chosen by the sitter.
Interested Artists need to
provide an image of portrait work they have previously done.
All artists need to be a resident of Mansfield and surrounds.
The three participating artists are chosen by the Arts Council of Mansfield
committee and the decision is final with no correspondence entered into.
Each artist works in their own medium, supplies all their own materials
and canvasses etc.
The winning Portrait becomes an acquisition of the Mansfield Shire Council
as part of a growing art collection.
